Ken Brady is a respected business attorney and civil litigator who hails from Lexington, Massachusetts. Mr. Brady founded his firm in 2016 because he believes each client deserves the same high-quality representation and level of attention regardless of the size of the case. Mr. Brady represents a variety of clients in corporate and business matters from sole-proprietors and tech startups to mid-sized companies. He has helped businesses tackle challenges from their beginnings, selecting and establishing their corporate form, to managing ongoing compliance matters. He has also helped companies grow, negotiating mergers and major acquisitions valued in the millions.

Mr. Brady brings his experience and insight in copyright, trade secret, and trademark issues to bear on your matter. He has assisted all manner of clients, beyond businesses, including artists and academics, in pursuing registrations, negotiating agreements, and developing policies to protect their intellectual property. Mr. Brady’s experience as a trademark examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office enables him to bring an in-depth understanding of how to navigate trademark law, which can be a complicated and opaque process, and help his clients maximize the value of their trademarks.

Since his admission to the Virginia and DC bars, Mr. Brady has been the lead attorney in a variety of civil litigations, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has litigated a variety of disputes, including construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, breaches of contract, partnership disputes, and consumer protection matters. Mr. Brady is experienced in effectively and efficiently litigating a case from initial filing, to motions practice, to discovery, through trial.

Mr. Brady also brings a strategic and practical approach to estate planning. He believes that estate planning clients should be able to sleep easy knowing that their affairs are in order. Mr. Brady is dedicated to helping his clients understand their options and determine what fits their situation best.

Mr. Brady graduated summa cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif, a legal honor society. At WCL he received the Law Review & Journal Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. Mr. Brady served as Articles Editor for the American University Law Review and Senior Articles Editor for the American University Intellectual Property Brief. He also interned with the Honorable Judge Reggie Walton in the District Court for the District of Columbia and with the FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau in the Cybersecurity and Communications Reliability Division.
